ELIGIBILITY:

The BEKC, and other Boeing Recreation Clubs, are held to PRO-99 and site policies and procedures that govern who may and may not participate in the Club.

The policies applicable to BEKC state that all Boeing Employees and their eligible dependents may participate in the Club. Eligible dependents include spouses, children, and others claimed as dependents in the household. Unfortunately, at this time, eligible dependents are the only non-employees who may join the BEKC. Friends and other non-employees may attend class as a Guest of a regular BEKC member, but they can attend class only once per month.

However, for short-duration events, like the Women's Self-Defense Seminar or other future seminars sponsored by the Club, non-employees may attend, as long as they are approved by Recreation and sign the requisite waivers.

Note: children should be at least 6 years of age to participate.

FEES:

The cost of Club membership is $40 per month for the Boeing Employee Member and $15 per month for each associate member (dependent). Dues are typically paid on a quarterly basis, but payment arrangements can be made with our Treasurer. These dues cover the cost associated with renting the the dojo facility.

Compared with martial arts instruction you can receive outside of the BEKC, these fees are very reasonable. Most martial arts programs cost significantly more, many require long-term contracts, and most charge additional fees for testing and receiving your belts. The BEKC does not require long-term commitments and we do not charge for testing and belts. This is all included in your dues!

READ OUR BYLAWS

Our Bylaws may be viewed by clicking here.  All current Club members should be familiar with the Bylaws as they outline rules for Club operation and membership requirements.
