 David Holcomb owns World Arts of St. Louis.
Sensei Dave is a 4th degree Blackbelt in Isshinryu karate. After starting karate
at age 8, in 1980, Mr. Dave obtained the ranks of Sho-Dan in 1987, Ni-Dan in
1990, San-Dan in 1993 and Yo Dan in 2003. In addition to Isshinryu, he
loves multiple arts, but specifically has studied formal Judo in Brazil in
1994-1995.
Beyond martial arts, he has had the opportunity to train youth and adults through the YMCA for over 15 years in swimming, gymnastics, tennis, and soccer. He has a tremendous love for the teaching sports. He believes sports in general are a great catalyst to share good values and assets that people will carry with them for the rest of their lives. |
