CLASS FORMAT:

The Club group class usually follows this format:

• 1/2 hour of warm-up and stretching
• 1/2 hour of basic technique instruction (punches, blocks, and kicks)
• 1/2 hour of self-defense technique instruction

At this time, children and adults attend the same class. Should Club membership increase significantly, we will begin holding two Friday night sessions--one for adults and one for children.

CLASS TIMES:

The regular Club group class is every Tuesday evening from 5:30-7:00pm. Club members may attend one additional group class per week on Thursday evening at World Arts of St. Louis. Group class is Thursday from 7:30-9:00pm.

ATTIRE:

Club members are not required to purchase and wear gi's, the traditional karate uniform. However, gi's are available for purchase from World Arts of St. Louis or the karate club.

Comfortable, workout clothing is recommended. Shoes are not required as the floor is padded and we go barefoot or wear socks. Our only requirement is that you do NOT wear shorts. Sweatpants are acceptable.

LOCATION:

We meet at World Arts of St. Louis Karate School at 7137 N Lindbergh in Hazelwood, MO. The school is conveniently located 5 minutes from most Boeing St. Louis campuses 1 block north of Lindbergh (Hwy 67) and I-270 at Dunn Road.

Directions from Highways 67 and I-270:

• Take Lindbergh N over I-270
• Take the first exit north of 270 for Dunn/Taylor Rd. 
• If you are exiting 270 onto Lindbergh N. you will automatically end up on the Dunn/Taylor exit)
• Make a left at the light
• Drive under Lindbergh and make a right into the parking lot of the Hazelwood Office Park at the second light.
• World Arts is at the far southwest corner of the parking lot.
